We partner with organisations to collectively do more for our communities and show manaakitanga (generosity and care).

Together, we’ll continue to support communities in need with the natural goodness of dairy. We'll work to protect and regenerate the environment for future generations, and provide the care and support that keeps our communities strong, both here in Aotearoa New Zealand and around the world. Because a better Aotearoa New Zealand comes from doing good, together.

42,000 breakfasts

for tamariki and rangatahi (children and young people) through the KickStart Breakfast programme every school day.

$1.6 million NZD donated

to community projects in regional New Zealand since 2022.

28 million servings of dairy

for New Zealanders who need it most since 2020.

Partnered with Trees for Survival

to support 22 schools to nurture 27,000 native trees since 2022.

Feeding New Zealand Communities is a partnership between Fonterra, Feed Out and New Zealand Food Network.

Supporting mental health & wellbeing in rural communities

Fonterra has partnered with the Rural Support Trust to support their work in communities.

Rural Support Trust has been part of rural communities since 1980's, they support farmers through 1:1 support, adverse events and community events.

Hapori

It's through Hapori, meaning community, kinship & coming together for a common cause, that we intend to make impact in our regional communities. Our regional Hapori committee's partners with Community Foundations NZ to make meaningful impact.

Sustainable catchments

We are connecting and empowering our farmers, our manufacturing sites and local communities to take action that will improve water quality and regenerate nature.

Farm Source Charitable Giving

Farm Source Reward Dollars can be donated to four charities close to our Co-op: Feed Out, New Zealand Food Network, The Rural Support Trust and Trees That Count.

When times are tough, it's our farmers who dig in to support each other and their communities - that's what being part of a Co-op is all about.
