In New Zealand, our portfolio of well-known brands includes Anchor, Anmum, De Winkel, Farm Source, Fresh 'n Fruity, Kāpiti, Mainland, Mammoth, Perfect Italiano and Primo. Made using trusted processes and the highest quality natural dairy, we continue to be a partner to many of the world's leading food companies through our foodservice business, Anchor Food Professionals, and our B2B ingredients business, NZMP and Nutiani.

The goodness of our dairy can be found in all four corners of the globe, from New Zealand to Australia, China, Southeast Asia, South Asia and North Asia, and over to the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the Americas. New Zealand

New Zealand is home to our farmer shareholders and the base for our global operations.

In addition to our leading consumer brands and foodservice business, our work at home is the core of our global dairy ingredients business. With more than 28 manufacturing sites across the country, we process about 16 billion litres of milk every year. We export about 95% of our local production to more than 130 countries. 


25% of New Zealand exports are Fonterra dairy products.

We also make high quality, fit-for-purpose dairy foods for foodservice professionals and provide dairy ingredients to many of the world’s leading food companies.

Fonterra has been operating in China since 1973 and is committed to providing nutritious, safe, and high quality dairy products for Chinese customers. Fonterra China covers a wide range of businesses including Ingredients, Foodservices and Consumer Brands. Fonterra is working closely together with partners across the supply chain in China, actively engaging in sustainability activities and contributing to the government’s “dual carbon” goals.

5 application centres

Since 2014, Fonterra has opened a total of 5 Application Centres (FAC) in China including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Shenzhen.


Fonterra has been supplying quality dairy nutrition to Indonesia for more than 24 years.

Indonesia’s large and increasingly affluent population has a fast-growing appetite for high-quality dairy nutrition. Today, our nutritious and tasty products nourish Indonesian consumers at every stage of their lives.


Our Anchor Food Professionals range supplies more than 12,000 commercial kitchens.

Fonterra began operating in Malaysia in 1975 and brands such as Anlene, Anmum (Lacta, Materna & Essential) and Fernleaf are household names.

Fonterra has been supplying quality dairy nutrition to Malaysians for almost 50 years and we are the leading supplier of dairy ingredients for food and beverage manufacturers in Malaysia. We manufacture and export consumer products to 14 countries in Asia and Americas. Our ambition is to make a difference in the lives of 34 million Malaysians and help build a healthier Malaysia.
