The Fonterra Brands Malaysia head office is located in Shah Alam, Selangor.
Around 120 employees are based here working across our strong portfolio of trusted consumer and foodservice brands.
Our core focus is on growing our business to continue to meet the nutritional needs of Malaysian consumers.
Our two manufacturing sites Dairymas and Susumas have the capacity to process 46,000 metric tonnes of New Zealand dairy products every year. In 1996, Malaysia became the regional packing centre for Fonterra's milk powder brands.
Around 40 per cent of our products manufactured in Malaysia are exported to 11 countries across Asia and the Middle East.
The facility was built in 1999 to meet the country’s growing appetite for yoghurt and UHT dairy products.
The site processes around 10,000 metric tonnes of liquid dairy per year, turning it into CalciYum yoghurts and milk drinks, and Anlene yoghurts.
Fonterra’s Susumas site located at the Subang Hi-Tech Industrial Park was built in 1992.
Susumas has a total capacity of around 30,000 metric tonnes per year and blends and packs milk powder products for leading consumer brands including Anlene, Anmum (Materna, Lacta, Essential), and Fernleaf.
