New Zealand has the target of being carbon neutral by 2050 – just over 30 years away. 

To be successful, experts and thought leaders say the way we live and work will need to be vastly different to today. The economy will have to be reshaped, how children are educated for jobs that don’t yet exist must be dealt with and public debates on incendiary issues like genetically modified food are inevitable.
