Festival Komunitas 2017 Celebrates The Spirit of Healthy and Living by Engaging Sport Communities
Anlene, the flagship brand of Fonterra Brands Indonesia, together with Sports Medicine Specialist Association (PDSKO) today held the Festival Komunitas 2017 at the office of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Republic of Indonesia. This activity is an initiative between PDSKO and Anlene and it embraces National Sports Day 2017 commemorated on 9 September 2017.
Supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Republic of Indonesia, the Festival Komunitas 2017 is to encourage Indonesians to exercise actively and to adopt healthy lifestyle through various sports’ communities, for a stronger and healthier society in Indonesia.
The Festival Komunitas 2017 was officiated by the Head of Mass Sports Affairs and Sports Health Ministry of Youth and Sports dr. I Nyoman Winata, Sp.KO. Festival Komunitas 2017 is aligned with the World Health Organization's (WHO) global mission and also supports the Ministry of Youth and Sport's Ayo Olahraga Movement and Ministry of Health’s People’s Healthy Lifestyle Movement (Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat or Germas). The event was joined by 1,200 people from various sport communities, healthy lifestyle enthusiasts, taekwondo athlete Tya Ariestya, and Anlene brand ambassadors Titi Rajo Bintang and Indy Barends to celebrate the spirit of healthy and active living through doing various of physical activities and sports together.
Head of Mass Sports Affairs and Sports Health Ministry of Youth and Sports dr. I Nyoman Winata, Sp.KO said, "Festival Komunitas 2017 is in line with the 'Sports Unite Us' theme of the National Sports Day 2017, and today we are calling everyone to adapt sport as part of their lifestyle. An active and healthy lifestyle can be initiated from the family to the larger community."
According to the Chairman of the Sports Medicine Specialist Doctors Association (PDSKO) dr. Lenny Pintowari, SpKO, healthy and active lifestyle's awareness should be encouraged. "The country's welfare and technology improvement has turned our urban community to be less active/ mobile. Whereas, this less of physical activity not only can lead to various diseases, but also can reduce people's productivity. Physical activity and sport now are not only useful for prevention but also as a treatment," dr. Lenny said.
Meanwhile, Fonterra Brands Indonesia Marketing Technical Advisor Rohini Behl expressed, "Anlene believes a strong nation starts with a strong society. Festival Komunitas 2017 is an initial partnership between Anlene and PDSKO that aims to encourage people to start moving active and exercise through the support from various sport communities."
The Festival Komunitas 2017 is part of the Anlene #tetapbisa movement that aims to encourage Indonesians to prioritize their health and well-being by leading an active and healthy lifestyle and consuming a balanced, nutritious diet, including regular consumption of milk formulated to support bones, joints and muscles, for a stronger and healthier society in Indonesia.
During Festival Komunitas 2017, participants were offered free health education session, Anlene's Move Check and age suit experiment, as well as to other various health check-ups and consultations available at the booths.
