Shekhar Rapaka, President Director Fonterra Brands Indonesia said, “Fonterra Brands Indonesia is proud to partner with the Ministry of Health to ensure the health and well-being of all Indonesians at all ages.

We are aligned with the Ministry of Health’s target to achieve the World Health Organization’s Global Action Plan on Physical Activity, which is essential to creating a more active and healthier Indonesia as well as to improve the health of mothers and children by making pregnancy safer and overall child and adolescent health and nutrition.

In place for a period of five years, the MOU covers two priority areas: education and empowerment of healthy and active lifestyle; and education and empowerment of family healthcare including mothers and children.

These priorities are aligned to the Ministry of Health’s national targets for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as well as the World Health Organization’s Global Action Plan on Physical Activity, which is a 15% relative reduction in the prevalence of insufficient physical activity in adults and adolescents by 2030, and an overall increase in mothers’ and children’s health.

“Fonterra Brands Indonesia is committed to building a stronger, healthier and happier nation by providing trusted, high-quality dairy nutrition that meets the needs of Indonesians across all life stages. We look forward to collaborating with the Ministry of Health to empower and promote well-being for all Indonesians,” said Mr Rapaka.
