Using solar energy to power the shed and the grid.
When Southland farmer Jimmy Gerritsen was investing in a new shed, he wanted his business to be environmentally friendly and economically sustainable. Using solar power, Jimmy is able to power both the shed and the grid, with an aim to have his investment paying for itself in 4 years. And he says it’s something he might look at for his other shed.
