Designed with help from behavioural experts, the app combines technology with psychology to motivate, track and educate on healthy eating habits and easy-to-do activities.
Anlene Marketing Manager Paulo Ocampo said the AnleneMOVE app marks Anlene Malaysia’s continued efforts to encourage people to maintain mobile and active lives.
“Daily movement is one of the most important things we can do to stay healthy. Good mobility or movement is what allows us to do what we love every day – from enjoying time with your kids to going for a walk with your partner.
“We hope to offer a convenient tool where Malaysians can track their mobility or movement progress, get access to nutritional tips, and be part of a supportive community to inspire them to make simple changes to their diet and lifestyle,” he said.
Some of the app features include tailoring a custom-made habit-forming programme to the users’ lifestyle and preferences, getting daily notifications to remind users to remain active, keeping track of and sharing personal progress updates, learning nutritional tips and Anlene recipes, enjoying rewards when goals are achieved, and syncing to AppleHealth and GoogleFit to enhance the usability of the app.
