A passion for people and lending her expertise to help her peers during COVID-19 has put Carol Feng a cut above the rest.
Carol joined Fonterra in 2016 as our Vice President for Human Resources in Fonterra Greater China and has been recognised this year for her contribution to China’s HR industry, named on China’s Top 100 HR Manager list.
“Being a part of a great team and working with them every day is what I love about the work I do within the Co-op,” says Carol.
Carol has played a pivotal role in implementing Greater China’s People Strategy, which includes developing employees and teams. She has also led the team to success, winning recognition awards including ‘Top Employer China’ and for the second year in a row ‘Great Place to work in Greater China.’
“Driving our People Strategy is the company culture and our team’s capabilities - it empowers our people to thrive at Fonterra Greater China.
“Our teams are Good Together and should be very proud of themselves,” says Carol.
Fonterra Greater China’s People Strategy focuses on building a great team with the right mixture of culture and collaboration, to enable the delivery of our new strategy and customer-led operating model.
Carol’s work during COVID-19 has also been recognised. She offered her support and shared knowledge by engaging with industry platforms and speaking at virtual forums, helping to keep people’s morale high during a tough time.
“There’s been a lot of sharing, including what we’ve learned this year and all of us within the HR network here in China have a shared goal to help one another,” says Carol.
Representing Fonterra, Carol is an influential Human Resources executive and valued member of renowned industry networks and associations and has built good connections with universities in China.
“This recognition is not only great for me but my team and Fonterra Greater China,” says Carol.
