Fonterra Australia has today signed an agreement to purchase Dairy Country to help drive efficiencies in its leading Australian cheese business.

Fonterra Australia and ProviCo Australia have signed a sale agreement for Fonterra’s Dennington manufacturing site. The sale will be complete by 22 April 2020.

Thirty businesses, registered training organisations and service providers from across Western Victoria came together on Thursday for a Jobs Fair for the team at Fonterra Dennington, ahead of the factory’s closure at the end of November.

Fonterra has made the decision to close its Dennington site in South West Victoria, with the site to cease operations by the end of November 2019.
