Fernleaf shares the goodness of its new probiotic-packed cultured milk drink with more than 17,000 Malaysians

Sharing the goodness of cultured milk drink with probiotics to support good gut health and well-being to the community at selected Ramadhan bazaars and Program Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) in Klang Valley.

One of the nation’s well-loved family milk brands, Fernleaf took the opportunity to reach out to more than 17,000 Malaysians to get their hands on its new cultured milk drink at selected Ramadhan bazaars and Program Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) within the Klang Valley.

In conjunction with the month of Ramadhan which encourages the spirit of giving and sharing, the community effort that kickstarted in March aims to drive awareness of the importance of good gut health to support the body’s defense system amongst Malaysians, and share the goodness of its new Probiotic+ cultured milk drink (CMD) – the only CMD in the nation with 3 three scientifically researched types of probiotics.

“Ramadhan is a special month, especially in countries like Malaysia. It emphasizes the noble act of giving and sharing. For us, giving back to the people with prioritization on their health is the best one can provide”, shared Siew Poh Lim, Marketing Manager of Everyday Nutrition in Fonterra Brands Malaysia.

“Being part of a global dairy organization that has always placed importance on the people’s well-being, we understand how key gut health and immunity are especially after the pandemic. Hence, we took the opportunity to share the goodness of our new probiotic-infused cultured milk drinks with the people during this special month”, she added.

The 1-month initiative was successfully rolled out reaching the communities in PPR Teratak Taman Desa and Taman Medan Cahaya as well as Ramadhan bazaars at Putrajaya, TTDI, Wangsa Maju, Taman Desa Melawati, Kg. Medan and Kg. Baru.

Aza Aziz, a PPR Taman Desa resident said, “I’m happy to see my children enjoy the drink during their buka puasa, given it's also nutritious”.

Another happy resident, Gerry Yap shared “It’s not too sweet, just right”.
