A collaboration with Yayasan Food Bank in reaching out to lower-income families through a sustainable education programme of balanced eating. It’s in difficult times, that being Good Together and giving back matters even more.

The ongoing pandemic has left everyday Filipinos feeling the pinch financially and many, compromising on nutrition. Community food pantries have sprouted across provinces, with only one rule: Give what you can, take what you need. 

Our team in the Philippines have unselfishly donated their monthly milk product allocations to the pantries, challenging one another other to do the same.

Pregnant women, lactating mothers and young children need access to micronutrient-rich food –fresh vegetables, fruits, fish– but these perishables have been more vulnerable to supply chain disruption in the ongoing pandemic.

As one of the top maternal milk brands, we contributed thousands of packs of our Anmum concentrate to support pregnant women in isolated areas with very little access to nutrition and to hospitals that treat pregnant patients.

Since 2013, we’ve run the Fonterra Dairy Scholarship programme in conjunction with the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health Services, under Indonesia’s Ministry of Agriculture. This award-winning programme sees Fonterra working closely with Indonesian dairy farmers and government support workers to improve dairy farming practices in local communities.
