Jakarta, 30 July 2021 – Breastfeeding is an essential part of motherhood. A mother's nutrient intake, physical and mental preparations are key elements to be prioritized. To support motherhood, Anmum holds 'Anmum Jadi Yakin 7 Days Live' a digital education series to help mothers breastfeed in order to be able to stay calm and have peace in mind while commemorating World Breastfeeding Week 2021.
Anmum Jadi Yakin 7 Days Live' will run for seven consecutive days throughout August 1st-7th, 2021, discussing 7 different topics related to breastfeeding via IG Live on @Anmum_Indonesia Instagram account. Riszha Gandjar, Marketing Manager of Anmum, Fonterra Brands Indonesia, said, "Anmum understands the anxiety and challenges during breastfeeding. Therefore, we are holding 'Anmum Jadi Yakin 7 Days Live' digital education series to help mothers. We choose IG Live to reach mothers across the country to provide them factual and comprehensive information. It is a casual and lighthearted talk show. Discussing 7 breastfeeding topics for over seven days, we hope to motivate mothers to breastfeed with calm and have peace in mind in any situation and celebrate the moment as a special journey to form a strong, loving bond with their child."
Riszha Gandjar added, “While supporting mothers throughout this important phase, Anmum also helps them fulfill their daily nutrient needs when breastfeeding. Anmum is enriched with NUELIPID containing gangliosides & DHA, calcium, iron, vit B1, vit B2, omega 3 and omega 6, as well as protein to support maternal health and help mothers produce quality breastmilk.”
dr. Zidnie Prissilla Primawati, Sp.A, pediatrician in RSIA SamMarie Basra & RSUD Budhi Asih, explained, “During breastfeeding, a mother needs to be physically and mentally prepared at the early stages of pregnancy to ensure quality breastmilk production and breastfeeding process. In terms of physical preparedness, it is necessary to pay attention to the breasts and nipples; both need to stay clean and moist. If your breasts are engorged and the milk won’t flow, a gentle breast massage can really help you relax and get the milk flowing. Nutrient intake is also an important factor and mothers have to maintain their health and fitness because breastfeeding is a long and can be an exhausting journey.”
"The mental preparedness is something you cannot ignore. Amidst this pandemic, mothers are likely to feel more anxious and stressed, and negative feelings can disrupt breastmilk production. Try to communicate with your partner, get support from your family, seek inspiration from other breastfeeding mothers, and find more about breastfeeding information. While it is difficult at the moment to consult with your doctor at healthcare facilities because of the pandemic, mothers can opt for digital education as long as they are provided by certified experts. These factors will improve the mother's psychological condition and increase the hormone oxytocin that helps ease the flow of breastmilk," added dr. Zidnie Sp.A.
Sabai Dieter, a public figure and mother of two, says, “For some mothers, and from my personal experience, breastfeeding is not as easy as people may believe it to be. Every mother has their own breastfeeding struggles as they understand that being breastfed is a human right of every child. I believe mothers must prioritize nutrient intake by consuming quality milk and consistently seek out information from trusted sources, such as 'Anmum Jadi Yakin 7 Days Live'. Both efforts and the support of those around are very valuable to make breastfeeding the most beautiful moment of a mother's journey."
