Fonterra Brands Malaysia launches competition to inspire new ways of cooking with dairy

Fonterra Brands Malaysia today launched the Fonterra First Feasts campaign which involved 10 Malaysian social media influencers – who are also home-based cooks – to each create an innovative recipe that combines New Zealand and Malaysian flavours using Fonterra products, including Anlene yogurt and the new Fernleaf UHT milk.

The dairy nutrition company from New Zealand invites the public to vote (like, share and comment) for their favorite Fonterra First Feasts dish. The campaign aims to help showcase how dairy can be used to create great tasting dishes.

To further their efforts to provide education on dairy nutrition, Fonterra Brands Malaysia is working together with junior celebrity chef and Instagram sensation, Danish Harraz.

“I’m thrilled to work with Fonterra Brands Malaysia to inspire Malaysians to cook more with dairy. As a home cook, dairy is one of my favourite ingredients because from cheese to yogurt, there are so many ways to add flavour and texture to any dish. I look forward to showing everyone new, fantastic ways of using dairy in the kitchen,” said Danish.

Fonterra Brands Malaysia’s Cooperative Affairs Manager, Ms Manisya Ismail, said the company is excited to work with Danish and the other home cooks to inspire Malaysians to consume more dairy and enjoy its numerous nutritional benefits.

The great thing about dairy is that it is not only a versatile ingredient that complements many dishes, and is also highly nutritious. Our new Fernleaf UHT milk, for example, is packed with essential nutrients such as calcium and protein, which are important for heart, bone and overall health.

The recipes from the 10 social media influencers will be open for public voting from now to 11 June on the Fonterra Brands Malaysia Facebook page at www.facebook.com/FonterraBrandsMalaysia.
