The Anchor team in China has created social media history with their “10 marks” video.

In the first month of the launch, the video has garnered over 63 million views, millions of comments and thousands of shares across China’s major social media platforms including WeChat, Weibo and video-sharing sites.

Business Development Director of China Brands Manoj Namboodiri says the team is excited about its huge success.

“Most leading social brands in China would be very happy to get 10 million views in total, but we’ve got 63 million in the first month.

“It’s the most successful social media campaign in our history and it’s well on track to become one of the most successful viral videos in China. More importantly, this is highly encouraging as we work to improve our business model.

The video is part of Anchor Kids’ milk integrated campaign called “Your Child Deserves 10 Marks”, reminding parents that their kids deserve uncompromised care and nourishment.

“10 marks in Chinese suggests no compromise. It’s a great campaign that touches on a lot of meaning and emotional connections for mums in China, while also helping them learn more about how Anchor is an uncompromised choice for high quality dairy nutrition in China,” said Manoj. In the first month of the launch, the video has garnered over 63 million views, millions of comments and thousands of shares across China’s major social media platforms including WeChat, Weibo and video-sharing sites.
