Fonterra Australia’s Foodservice business, the long-trusted partner of thousands of foodservice businesses across Australia, now has a new name – Anchor Food Professionals.
While the name has changed, our promise hasn’t – to continue to build partnerships with foodservice operators across the country, to give them an edge in a highly competitive industry. Anchor Food Professionals will champion the trusted brands that foodservice operators know and love – Perfect Italiano™, Western Star™, Mainland™, Anchor™ and Bega™.
Foodservice is one of the largest industries in the world and is predicted to be worth US$3 trillion globally by 2021[1]. Fonterra is the world’s leading dairy exporter, as Fonterra’s global foodservice brand, Anchor Food Professionals is well positioned to capitalise on this market.
Director of Foodservice, Jeff Dhu, says that over the years the business has continuously evolved to keep ahead of customer needs. Our new identity will enable us to leverage Anchor Food Professionals’ global reach, knowledge and innovation.
“Anchor Food Professionals not only represents the world-class dairy products that we make for restaurants, cafés and quick service restaurants across the country, it also signifies the deep expertise of our people and the focus on performance and business solutions that we bring to the table.
“We love rolling up our sleeves and getting in our customers’ kitchens and working collaboratively to design solutions that add value and help move their business forward – we are all passionate food professionals too, so it’s a great mix,” says Jeff.
There is massive growth in foodservice worldwide as diets, eating habits and lifestyles change – with more than 50 per cent of all food and beverage in both the US and Australia now consumed out of home[2]. Anchor Food Professionals can help its foodservice customers keep up with this growth and together create thriving industry in Australia.
