Labelling

Simple, honest food labelling.

Trying to understand labels on food can be a minefield, making it hard to work out whether a product is good for you or meets your dietary needs.

All of our dairy products have simple, accurate and clear labelling – making it easy to identify the goodness of dairy in each serve and help you make more informed food choices.

Know your food's provenance.

We’re proud of Australia’s reputation for high quality, safe and clean food, and the care that we take of our cows and our milk – both in Australia and New Zealand.

Consumers increasingly want to know more about where their food comes from, so the Australian Government has introduced new Country of Origin food labelling requirements. This means that from 1 July 2018, all food sold in Australia must include more transparent information about where it was grown, produced or made.

Consumers can now see new Country of Origin labelling on all of our retail products manufactured after 1 July 2018 and sold in Australia.

Make healthier choices with the Health Star Rating.

The Health Star Rating is an Australian government initiative developed to help consumers make informed nutrition decisions when purchasing packaged foods. Developed in collaboration with industry, public health and consumer groups, the voluntary system was introduced in 2014 and will be formally reviewed in 2019.

From June 2019, Health Star Rating information will be included on all of our consumer-branded websites. We’re also providing industry feedback to help ensure that the system accurately reflects the nutritional goodness of each of the five food groups – including dairy – as outlined by the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating.
