When you see our Grass Fed claims on-pack you can trust that the product has been made using milk certified to our Fonterra Grass and Pasture Fed Standard. Our standard requires our farmers' cows to be at least 90% grass fed and spend at least 8 hours a per day, on average for 340 days per year on pasture of forage crops. Our New Zealand milk is third party certified against our Fonterra Grass & Pasture Fed Standard annually by AsureQuality, an independent Conformity Assessment Body (CAB). Thanks to New Zealand’s temperate climate, our farmers’ cows in New Zealand spend over 350 days a year grazing outdoors on pasture and consume 96% of their diet as grass or forage crops¹, so every drop of milk is full of natural goodness.
