Richard Luxton

Richard is a Director of JD & RD Wallace Limited, a large farming business with interests in the Waikato, King Country and across the South Island.

Richard manages Pouarua Farms Limited Partnership, a Hauraki Iwi owned partnership consisting of Nine Dairy farms on the Hauraki Plains.

He is a founding shareholder and Director of Fidus Management Group Limited. He sits on the St Paters School Foundation Committee and is the founder and committee member of the Matamata Piako Three Rivers Charitable Trust. Richard also manages two family dairy farms in the Waikato where he lives with his wife and two young children.

Richard has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury and a diploma in agribusiness. In 2013 Richard was part of the Kellogg’s rural leadership development programme run out of Lincoln University.

After eight years working in Supplychain and Manufacturing industries Richard returned home and went dairy farming. After successfully running two farms simultaneously over a number of seasons he moved into corporate farm management with MyFarm Limited in Canterbury before moving back to the Waikato.
