With little idea of the future I spent 5 years at University completing Political Science and Economics degrees.
My introduction to non-family business employment came via Energizer Ltd followed by Cerebos Greggs then a stint in Sydney trying to establish a New Zealand data analysis company in the Australian market.
Without a lot of success in Sydney and with the help of some honest appraisal I determined that a career with Foodstuffs was what I really wanted. We purchased our first store in Coopers Beach which we re-built then moving to Whangamata and finally Thames. We are a family of 4 with my wonderful wife Ash and two boys James 6 and Edward 4.
I love being at work as much as I love not being there and have a large number of things I enjoy when not at work.
