Edward Hardie

Edward is passionate about good strategic governance and achieving excellent results in all areas of finance, people and the environment. He has a wide range of expertise across multiple industries including dairying, forestry and infrastructure.

Edward with his wife Angeline and their three boys live in Hamilton and enjoy the mix of city and farm life. They own a 700 cow dairy farm in Kaeo, Northland where they employ a contract milker. Edward is currently the National FarmWise Manager at the Livestock Improvement Corporation.

Throughout his career Edward has provided services nationally and internationally to countries including Iceland, Fiji, Indonesia, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Philippines and Australia.

Edward has a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Natural Resources degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Administration from Massey. He has completed the NZ Institute of Directors Company Direction course and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors NZ and a Chartered Professional Engineer. He also sits on the Board of the NZ Institute of Primary Industry Management.
