Andrew is a highly effective board member. He has undertaken extensive professional governance development training, providing him with valuable knowledge and insight.
Recent experience as a principal investor and non-executive director has provided him with a fiduciary focus and stewardship approach to decision making. Andrew also brings an insightful commercial perspective and has been responsible for identifying and delivering significant strategic value in companies he has been involved with.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) degree from Canterbury University and has more than 15 years’ experience in financial markets across NZ, Australia and the UK, most recently as Head of Asset Management for the Australian direct infrastructure investment division of Deutsche Bank. He has completed a Company Directors Course (Order of Merit), and Mastering the Boardroom, Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Andrew currently lives in Mid Canterbury and oversees a farming business operating two milking platforms, supporting 1500 cows. This includes managing all young stock and supplementary feed requirements.
