Morgan Easton

Fonterra Alumni 2011 - 2012

Morgan grew up on a family farm in the Waitaki Valley and went on to study at Lincoln and Cornell Universities for his Bachelor of Agricultural Science.

He worked as a Dexcel consulting officer for 18 months before undertaking a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics at Purdue University, Indiana, on a Fulbright Scholarship.


Morgan and his wife Hayley are currently 50:50 sharemilking 1750 cows, over two Waitaki Plains farms - one of which they are an equity partner in and the other is a family farm. They have three young children, Lockhart, Harriet and Arabella.

Morgan and Hayley were runners-up in the NZ Sharemilker/Equity Farmer of the Year in 2013 and Morgan also received the 2017 Zanda McDonald Award

In 2013 he attended the USNZ Pacific Partnership Forum in Washington DC as a future partner.
