As a dairy co-operative from New Zealand, we’re committed to bringing our generations of expertise to Sri Lanka, working hand-in-hand with local farmers, communities and other partners to create a thriving local dairy industry.
In the 1970s we began selling bulk dairy ingredients in the country. Anchor branded milk powder quickly became a hit, and was followed by the opening of local processing sites.
In the mid-1990s, we launched Anchor Newdale – a fresh dairy range including milk, flavoured milk, yoghurt and curd that uses milk sourced from Sri Lankan farmers. Anchor Newdale dairy products are now a leading choice for Sri Lankan families.
Today we offer a wide range of dairy solutions, from a variety of milk powders to fresh dairy products, allowing us to cater to a broad spectrum of Sri Lankans – from mothers and children, to chefs and restaurants.
