Indonesia team shares milk as aid with those in need
30 April 2017
Last week our Indonesia team shared our trusted goodness with those in need, donating 13,000 packs of Anlene to global humanitarian and disaster relief organisation Fast Action Response.
The packs benefited close to 4,700 underprivileged families across major cities in Indonesia including Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang and Bekasi.
On the same day, the team held health and nutrition activities to encourage Indonesians to move together and have a balanced diet. We also held Anlene Move Checks to help people understand risks to their bones, joints and muscles.
Fonterra Brands Indonesia’s Communications Manager Andriani Ganeswari says this effort is part of our Fonterra Berbagi programme that brings the goodness of milk to people in need in communities where we operate.
“Not only do we want to give away milk for good nutrition, but also to educate the public long-term about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and balanced diet,” she says.
Any particular profiles of the families? Were they involved in a particular natural disaster?
