Every year we select a group of Australia’s most talented apprentice chefs to participate in the Fonterra Proud to be a Chef  program. It’s part of our commitment to the foodservice industry and culinary standards in Australia.

Foodbank Partnership

Since 2005, we have proudly partnered with Foodbank, the largest hunger relief organisation in Australia.  We are a milk supply partner and also donate our nutritious dairy foods, including cheese, butter, and cream to Foodbank.

We encourage our employees to volunteer their service to assist community-based, not for profit organisations and offer them one day per year of paid leave to support their efforts.


With many of our sites located in regional areas, we also encourage voluntary membership of Emergency Services who play an essential role in the event of an emergency such as flooding or bushfires.
