A unique feature of Fonterra’s organic farming systems in New Zealand is that cows have the opportunity to graze pasture 365 days a year. Just as organic consumers expect.

This is unlike organic dairy production in many other parts of the world that rely on feeding concentrates and housing the animals inside for much of the year.
