The Fonterra Graduate Technical Programme
The Graduate Technical Programme has been run in Palmerston North since 1970. It is an intensive, continuous, one year, post-graduate training course, which includes practical work, factory immersion and research and development courses.
The course is recognised by Massey University and trainees are awarded the Master of Dairy Science and Technology on successful completion. Trainees then move into business-as-usual roles within Fonterra in areas such as Production, Process Support, Product Technical, Supply and Operational Planning, Product Development, Marketing and Research.
