Result Announced For The 2010 Shareholders Council by - Election in Ward 27 - Southern Manawatu
Returning Officer Warwick Lampp, of electionz.com, has announced that Owen Greig has been elected as the Fonterra Shareholders’ Councillor for Ward 27, Southern Manawatu.
The unsuccessful election candidates were Eliot Cooper and Roy Funnell.
Mr Greig farms 2,000 cows at Bainesse, about 15 minutes south of Palmerston North. He has been involved in the dairy industry in several roles including as a Tui Shareholders’ Councillor, Chairman of the Federated Farmers’ Dairy Section and most recently as a Fonterra Networker.
