Now you don't have to wait until you graduate to get some hands-on work experience. If you will be heading into your final year of study in 2012, you can get to know how IS delivers value for Fonterra and gain hands on work experience in IS - all while earning a great hourly rate.

As a Fonterra IS Interm

You will be in a real job at our IS offices in Auckland and have the opportunity to work with others within IS as well as internal customers.  With support from a direct manager and Fonterra IS graduate, you will be exposed to the wider IS group (including spending time "shadowing" senior people) as you work on a specific IS project. You will present your assigned project at the end of your 12 week internship.  It is likely to focus on our core deliverables and may include:

• Optimising value from systems
• Improving business productivity
• Supporting business insight and innovation

We may not be a classic "technology" company but our team of 900 IS professionals delivers an IS platform and anticipates business needs that support Fonterra's commitment to be the world's largest dairy exporter.   Much of the day to day IS support and technical build is outsourced to allow the core team scope to lead business initiatives and innovation.
