Some CV Tips
Keep your CV brief but make sure it clearly states:
• Contact details
• Education
• Previous work experience - roles and dates of employment, main achievements
• Names and contact details of three referees, e.g., previous employers, lecturers
• Keep the format of your CV simple – use bullet points and headings
• Review the competencies in ‘Your Skills & Experience”. Think about how you have exhibited these in the past
• Do your homework on Fonterra – research our website and recent news/articles
Testing and Clarification Call |

Cognitive testing measure abilities that are specifically relevant to the role. The clarification call is a good opportunity for you to highlight your background, career goals and work experiences.

Assessment |

All successful applicants will participate in an Assessment Centre.
The Assessment Centre is designed to give you the opportunity to demonstrate your strengths through a variety of exercises.
You will also have the chance to meet with current graduates and senior managers to find out what it is like to work for Fonterra.
Successful applicants will be asked to bring their transcript (plus one copy) to the Assessment Centre. You may also be requested to supply your drivers license and proof of legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.
Tips
• Be an active listener and participant in each of the exercises
• Put forward your ideas and back them up with reasons
• Reflect on Fonterra’s competencies
Reference Checks |

Verbal references will be taken prior to offers being extended to successful candidates (written references will not be considered).
Make sure you talk to your referees and ask their permission for Fonterra to contact them.
Your three referees should include a previous or current employers (ideally your managers) and a university lecturer. Ask your referees for the best contact number and their availability to be contacted by Fonterra.
Following reference checks, job offers are made to successful candidates.
