He is founding Chairman of Global Dairy Platform, an international organisation whose mission is to provide insight and guidance in the promotion of the healthy consumption of dairy. Andrew also sits on the Growth and Innovation Advisory Board (GIAB) which provides high level, independent strategic advice to the New Zealand Government on growth and innovation issues.

She has worked in human resources in the oil industry in the US and Europe and the leisure industry in the United Kingdom.

Jonathan Mason joined Fonterra in 2009 as Chief Financial Officer. Jonathan is responsible
for Fonterra’s finance, strategy, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, legal, information systems
and auditing teams. He came from US-based chemicals company Cabot Corporation, where
he was Executive Vice President and CFO from 2006. Jonathan has previously worked as CFO
for Carter Holt Harvey from 2000 to 2005.

Prior to Fonterra, Andrei was Global President of the flavours division in Symrise, a leading manufacturer of flavours, fragrances and sensory ingredients.

Gary Romano was appointed Managing Director, Fonterra Trade and Operations in 2009 and has been working for Fonterra and the dairy industry since 1997. In his role, Gary oversees Fonterra’s shareholder and supplier services, milk collection, New Zealand operations, offshore milk sourcing and processing, supply chain, sustainability, government relations and global trade. Before joining the dairy industry, Gary worked for Alcoa of Australia and The Boston Consulting Group.

Mark oversees Fonterra’s operations in the region through a range of operating companies and hubs. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the consumer goods sector, ran East Asiatic Company as CEO for eight years and most recently managed Danone’s Nutrition business across Asia and the Pacific.
